1FDR)  Here is a very unique award from the presidency of Franklin Roosevelt. It is an award for meritorious work in the defense industry during the second world war. The name of the recipient and the company are still blank. The document has both a printed front and back. On the front are the printed signatures of the Under Secretary of War and the Under Secretary of the Navy. On the back is the printed signature of President Franklin Roosevelt. The pin is Sterling Silver, and is stamped "Army Navy Production Award" on the back. It comes in the original glassine envelope.

2FDR)  Here is a presidential gift from the presidency of Franklin Roosevelt. It is a metal box used to hold a box of matches. It bears highly detailed die struck FDR era Presidential Seal. The Presidential Seal is approximately 1 & 1/4" wide. The piece measures approximately 2 & 1/4" wide, by 1 & 1/2" deep, by 3/4" tall. It is in really pristine condition, for an item that is almost 70 years old. There is a vintage box of Red Top matches in the enclosure. There is no makers mark on this item. This is the only one of these items I have ever seen.

4FDR)  Here is an extraordinarily rare item from the Franklin Roosevelt presidential era. It is a Bell that is made from metal that came from German aircraft shot down over Britain. The Bell measures approximately 5 & 1/2" tall, and is 4 & 1/2" wide at the base. Raised relief busts of the Allied Leaders, FDR, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin, are cast on the sides of the bell. Around the bottom is cast the verbiage "Cast With Metal From German Aircraft Shot Down Over Britain 1939-1945 RAF Benevolent Fund". This is the only one of these Bells that I have ever seen.
