1IVORY) MAGNIFICENT MASSIVE SOLD MAMMOTH TUSK CARVING. This is a one of the most magnificent fossilized Mammoth Ivory carvings that I have ever seen. It is carved into a huge piece of Mammoth Ivory Tusk measuring approximately 12” tall and 16” round. There are two carved fully three-dimensional Mammoths near the top and one Mammoth carved in deep detailed relief near the base of the piece. This fossilized Ivory is thousands of years old and carved to museum quality. The overall height of the piece including the base is approximately 13 ½”. The base is beautifully custom carved and inlaid with parquet to compliment the Ivory. This piece is truly breath taking and would make a show case piece for any Ivory collection. $2,500.00
