*JFKPL)Included with any of these items from the Peter Lawford estate is a copy of my original photograph showing Peter Lawford with the Kennedy Family. The photo was taken on the occasion of JFK's presidential election win in 1960.

1JFKPLB) Here is a tremendously significant and important book from President Kennedy's personal library. It is entitled "The Authentic Life Of President McKinley" and was published in 1901. It gives an account of the assassination of President McKinley. President Kennedy read this book. It obviously impacted him deeply. What makes it both prophetic and eerie is the inscription that President Kennedy wrote in the book, before he gave it as a gift to Peter Lawford. He wrote, as follows "This is an excellent account of the life and tragic death of President McKinley. If a man wishes to trade his life for mine, there is nothing the Secret Service can do. That is why we need to live each day as if it were our last. John Kennedy September 18, 1963." Two months later, President Kennedy himself was struck down by an assassins bullet. The book is in very good condition for it's age. The annotation and signature page is strong and bold, and in excellent condition.

3JFKPLB) Here is an extraordinarily rare First Edition of John Kennedy's book, "Profiles In Courage". Even rarer is that John Kennedy has signed and inscribed, as president, as follows. "To Peter Lawford. This is an early printing of the book. Always the best. Merry Christmas. John Kennedy December 24, 1961." This was a Christmas gift from John Kennedy to Peter Lawford. Lawford was his brother in law, married to JFK's sister Patricia. He and Lawford were also great friends. Lawford was actively involved in campaigning for JFK during his presidential campaign. He also frequently stayed with the Lawford's at their Malibu beach house. This is a one of a kind book in excellent condition. The book was published by Harper & Brothers in New York City Included with this item is a copy of my original photograph showing Peter Lawford with the Kennedy Family. The photo was taken on the occasion of JFK's presidential election win in 1960. I also have a First Edition of "Why England Slept" available which has been signed and dedicated to Peter Lawford by JFK. Also available are several other books from JFK's personal Library that he has signed, dedicated, and given to Peter Lawford. They were primarily given as birthday and Christmas gifts.

"To Peter Lawford. This is the First Edition you wanted. Your former countrymen were asleep, but so was the rest of the world. John Kennedy August 12, 1962". This was a birthday gift from John Kennedy to Peter Lawford. Lawford was his brother in law, married to JFK's sister Patricia. He and Lawford were also great friends. Lawford was actively involved in campaigning for JFK during his presidential campaign. He also frequently stayed with the Lawford's at their Malibu beach house. He spent a great deal of time there between his election and Inauguration as president. This is a one of a kind book in excellent condition. The book was published by Wilfred Funk, Inc in New York City in 1940. Included with this item is a copy of my original photograph showing Peter Lawford with the Kennedy Family. The photo was taken on the occasion of JFK's presidential election win in 1960. I also have a First Edition of "Profiles In Courage" available which has been signed and dedicated to Peter Lawford by JFK. Also available are several other books from JFK's personal Library that he has signed, dedicated, and given to Peter Lawford. They were primarily given as birthday and Christmas gifts.
